The Ahize Mona: Ahize Mona, Means our joy in Bete one of the major ethnic groups of western Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) O.Deccam R. Gogoua founded the professional dance troupe Ahize Mona in January 1992.
The troupe specializes in authentic traditional dances from all over their native country as well those from other West African nations such as Guinea, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Mali and more.

The Ahize Mona Dance Academy is the instrument being used to teach authentic traditional African dances. It's separate from the Ahize Mona dance troupe. The Ahize Mona Dance Academy is the artistic laboratory in which the students learn about African traditional arts: dance, song, theatre and trough the lived experiences of people from the previously mentioned African nations.
