SYNOPSIS

Patrick, an Ivorian aged 25, is still convinced he can become a professional footballer despite his age, but this will be a slow and painful process. Motivated by a manipulative and unscrupulous agent, he believes he's the new African star. Caught up in his intricate relationship with the mistress of a political figure, his strained relationship with his aunt, and his friends living the high life in illegality, Patrick's life has abruptly changed. He will then take a decision that will push him far over the road to Brazil at the heart of the World Cup... among unexpected encounters, adventures and dangers of all kinds.
“Only one dream” brings us behind the scenes of the football world, not always shiny and very often unknown to the youth aspiring to glory. “Only one dream” was shooted between Abidjan, Paris and Rio de Janeiro. The series features some renowned African football players such as Max Gradel.
